COVID-19 Small Business Assistance Program - PAUSED Effective September 30, 2022

East Hartford, Connecticut

**Due to an overwhelming number of applications that our staff needs to review and to ensure that the limited amount of funding can be allocated fairly and equitably, we will be putting the program on hold effective September 30, 2022 until further notice.**

The Town of East Hartford is launching a COVID-19 Small Business Assistance Program to help eligible East Hartford businesses respond to and recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Program will provide financial grants, reimbursements, or in-kind services for specific purposes related to counteracting the adverse impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic

The Program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and administered by the Town of East Hartford’s Development Office, with assistance from the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce. It is intended to help businesses and the community become stronger and prosper.  Grants may be used for hiring of new employees, physical plant/infrastructure expansion, new equipment purchase, or facade renovations.
