FREE Social Emotional Learning Group (Strong Start) for East Hartford Children grades K-2 will be held on Tuesdays starting FEBRUARY 2nd, 2016 at the East Hartford Public Library 840 Main Street in the Children's Room.
Children will learn:
- How to identify and understand their own and other people's feelings.
- How to develop self-control and remain calm when stressed.
- How to express a range of feelings appropriately.
- The connection between how they thing and behave and what they feel.
- How to make friends and be a good friend.
Parents/Guardians can stay or drop children off.
It's a 10 week curriculum and runs from 5:15 - 6:30 pm.
