Traffic Advisory – Brian Aselton Memorial Snow Dash

This is a Traffic Advisory for all East Hartford residents and motorists planning to utilize the Long Hill Street area on Sunday, January 8, 2017 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.  There will be a 3-mile road race starting at 1:30 PM at the Langford School at 61 Alps Drive with approximately 300 runners.  There will be police officers working this special detail along with Parks and Recreation Department personnel.  The following streets will be temporarily affected with road closures:

Long Hill Street (between Burnham Street and Goodwin Street), Leverich Drive, Alps Drive, Yale Drive, Goodwin Street (between Long Hill Street and University Avenue), Prestige Park Road, University Avenue, Colby Drive, Bay Path Drive, Andover Road, Temple Drive, Syracuse Drive, and Purdue Lane.
