Can someone else pick up my holds for me?

In order to protect your privacy and the security of your library account, the library prefers for you to pick up your own holds whenever possible. Always have your library card with you whenever you come to check out materials. If there is an unexpected problem that prevents you from picking up your holds on time, you may send a family member or caregiver to pick up your holds as long as you send your library card in with them and you call us to let us know that the person has your permission to pick up your items. Library staff cannot check out your holds to someone else without your library card and your permission.
