Town to Close Route 2 Eastbound Exit 5 on September 29 and 30
Intersection Closed for Street Work – Motorists Should Use Exit 5A

On September 29 and September 30 2016, the Town of East Hartford will close the Eastbound Exit 5 off Route 2 during the day to accommodate milling work on the intersection. Exit 5 serves the area of Willow St., including Pratt & Whitney and CocaCola. Traffic will be diverted to Exit 5A and follow a northward detour on Main St. The closure will take place each day from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
