Clarcor Invests in East Hartford Facility

Ribbon Cutting Held December 11th

Mayor Marcia LeClerc, State Representative Tim Larson, and other local officials welcomed Clarcor Engine Mobile Group to East Hartford as they celebrated the official opening of their new facility at 60 Prestige Park Road.  They participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 11th.

Clarcor manufactures filtration products for a wide variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, energy production, and building systems.  Their East Hartford operations are in the engine/mobile filtration segment.  The facility includes a technology center, lab space where new designs are tested, engineering, marketing, and business development.  This division had previously been part of Stanadyne, based in Windsor, Connecticut, and was sold to Clarcor in May of 2014.
