East Hartford Online-Permitting System
The Town of EH will now be accepting On-Line applications for Permits from residents and businesses. You may use the On-Line application process to request and receive roofing, siding and water heater permits directly On-Line. Other Permit Types will be available in the future. However, you may begin the application process for all Building Trades online and complete the process by visiting the Department of Licenses and Inspections.
Please Note: Beginning the 3rd week of August – Permit fees for Fire Plan Review & Inspection will be collected at the same time as Building & Inspections Permit Fees.Many Fees will increase to $40.00 for the 1st $1000.00 and $25.00 for each $1000 of additional estimated costs.
Please be aware that all new building construction and major alterations to existing buildings may require special permissions/reviews from Town agencies and/or Boards prior to beginning the permit process. Please see the following documents:
